Ben K. Stoltzfus, 69, of 3718 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gordonville, went home to be with the Lord on January 2, 2016 at LGH, surrounded by his family. Born in Gordonville, he was the son of the late Stephen E. and Rebecca King Stoltzfus. He was the husband of Anna S. Stoltzfus, to whom he was married 47 years on November 14th.
He was a member of Spring Garden Church. He was dedicated to his family and greatly enjoyed spending time with his 19 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, who adored him. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and many trips to the cabin to spend time with family. He was self-employed and worked in construction.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: eight children, Ben, Jr., married to Miriam F. Stoltzfus, Linda A., married to Amos J. Lantz, Hanna M., married to David L. Stoltzfus, Rebecca A. married to the late Amos K. Stoltzfus, Jr., Steven L. married to Tonya R. Esh Stoltzfus, Mervin W. Stoltzfus, Verna L. married to John E. Kauffman, Vernon J. married to Susan E. Glick Stoltzfus. He was preceded in death by a son, Ivan J. Stoltzfus, and a son-in-law, Amos K. Stoltzfus, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at 10 AM at Ridgeview Mennonite Church, 3723 Ridge Rd. Gordonville. Viewing will be held from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the church on Monday. Interment will be in Gordonville Cemetery.
