Jonas S. Lapp, 91, of 3128-A Harvest Dr., Ronks, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at home. Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late John S. and Sarah Stoltzfus Lapp. He was the husband of the late Katie King Lapp. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: six sons, John husband of Rebecca Smucker Lapp, Paradise, Enos husband of Fannie Beiler Lapp, Kirkwood, Samuel husband of Naomi Glick Lapp, Peach Bottom, Amos husband of Naomi Esh Lapp, Ronks, Jonas husband of Sarah Kauffman Lapp, Oxford, Stevie husband of Mary King Lapp, Gordonville; three daughters, Sylvia wife of Jesse Stoltzfus, Quarryville, Sarah wife of David Zook, Lititz, Katie wife of Norman King, Kirkwood; a step-daughter-in-law, Sarah Miller Swarey, Peach Bottom; 82 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; step-brother, Reuben Beiler; two step-sisters, Mary Zook and Lydia King.
He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Annie Lapp; two brothers, Samuel and Amos Lapp; two sisters, Annie Stoltzfus and Mattie Zook; step-brother, Elias Beiler; step-sister, Sarah Esch.
The funeral will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 9:00 AM from the Amos K. Lapp residence, 3128-B Harvest Drive, Ronks with interment following in Gordonville Cemetery. Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice until the service. Kindly omit flowers.
