Sam loved to travel, especially camping in various places, plus he enjoyed visiting missionaries in other countries and volunteering with MDS. His hobbies included golf, playing games and gardening. For many years he and his wife spent winters in Sarasota, Florida where he enjoyed countless hours of playing shuffleboard and cards with family and friends. Since the passing of his wife, he treasured having his sister Priscilla spend time with him during the winter months in Florida.
Sam was very appreciative to his family, caretakers and the Hospice Community for the loving care he received the past ten weeks.
