Malinda K. Smucker, 82, of 102 Glenbrook Rd., Leola, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 at home. Born in Bird-in-Hand, she was the daughter of the late Levi E. and Fannie King Stoltzfus. She was married to Jacob E. Smucker. Malinda was the former owner of Smucker's Dry Goods, and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are: 11 children, David husband of Esther Smucker, New Holland, Fannie wife of Isaac King, Montgomery, Levi husband of Emma Smucker, Christiana, Jacob husband of Sarah Smucker, Lititz, Annie wife of Joseph King, Paradise, Daniel husband of Anna Smucker, Quarryville, Elam husband of Rebecca Smucker, Lititz, Barbara wife of Benuel Beiler, Paradise, Amos husband of Marian Smucker, Leola, John husband of Anna Smucker and Eli husband of Lydia Smucker, both of Christiana.
Also surviving are: 69 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one brother, John husband of Lydia Stoltzfus, Bird-in-Hand; two sisters, Lydia Fisher, Loganton, Sadie wife of Daniel Stoltzfoos, New Providence. She was preceded in death by a brother, four sisters, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the late home on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, at 9 am EST with interment following in Upper Millcreek Cemetery. Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice til the time of the service. Kindly omit flowers.
