Levi S. Fisher, Sr., 81, of 442 N. Jackson St., Strasburg, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at home. Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late Jacob S. and Sarah Stoltzfus Fisher. He was the husband of Lizzie E. Smucker Fisher. Levi was a retired dairy farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: five sons, Jacob married to Mary Beiler Fisher, Bart, Levi Jr. married to Fannie King Fisher, Strasburg, Samuel S. married to Sarah King Fisher, Christiana, Benuel married to Annie Stoltzfus Fisher, Quarryville, Daniel S. married to Katie Stoltzfus Fisher, New Providence; 46 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; brothers, Benuel S. Fisher, Bloomsburg, Jacob married to Rachel Fisher, David married to Barbara Fisher, both of Strasburg, Samuel married to Annie Fisher, Ronks; sisters, Mary Smucker, Gordonville, Lydia married to John Stoltzfus, Sarah married to Henry Beiler, both of Leola, Annie married to Daniel Stoltzfus, Lititz; sisters-in-law, Rachel Fisher and Rebecca Fisher, both of Ronks.
He was preceded in death by: six children, Elam, Susie, David, Sarah, Malinda and Annie; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Amos E. and Gideon E. Fisher; a sister, Malinda F. Stoltzfus.
Funeral services: Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016 at Noon from the late home. Viewing: at the late home till the service. Burial: Beiler’s Cemetery, Ronks. Kindly omit flowers.
