Richard Jon Fithian, age 76, of Leola, PA, peacefully passed away in his sleep at home on June 13. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Jayne) Fithian of Leola, PA; his son and wife, Mark and Dee Fithian of Franklinville, NJ; and daughter, Kimberli Watkins of New Holland, PA. He is also survived by his mother, Roberta (Unger) Fithian, and brother, Gary Fithian of Ephrata, PA; sister and brother-in-law, William and Virginia (Fithian) Jeffers of Glassboro, NJ; 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, William Paul Fithian of Glassboro, NJ; sister Elizabeth Warner of Gloucester, NJ. He loved hunting, fishing, working with his hands, and being a dad. Visitation will be held at the Leola United Methodist Church, 7 W. Main St., Leola, PA on June 17 at 10:30 am with a service following at 11:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
