Christian B. King, 68, of 305 Newport Rd., Leola, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at his home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late David B. and Ada (King) King. He was the husband of Ruth (Beiler) King. He was a laborer at Horseshoe Acres, Lancaster, and Casual Living, New Holland. Christian was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: 5 children, Barbie married to Preston Merklinger, Birmingham, PA, Lydia married to Benuel Stoltzfus, Parkesburg, Mattie married to Marvin King, Lock Haven, Christ B. King, Jr., Avis, Benuel King, Ephrata; 10 grandchildren; 10 siblings, Benjamin married to Rachel King, Lebanon, Mattie King, Bird-in-Hand, Lydia married to Stephen Stoltzfus, Blain, Sadie married to Sam Swarey, Marshall, IN, David married to Connie King, Union, SC, Abner married to Sadie King, Bird-in-Hand, Nancy married to Omar Beiler, New Holland, Ada married to Eli Lantz, Leola, Susie married to Mike Zook, Honey Brook, Aaron married to Lydia King, Newburg. He was preceded in death by a son, Abner.
Funeral services will be held from the Ephraim Esh residence, 25 Spring Rd., Leola, on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 9 am with interment following in Myer’s Cemetery. The viewing will be at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
