Esteemed founder and author of The Justice Report, Adam Richard Mutzabaugh passed away unexpectedly in his home in Leola on September 11, 2024. Son, grandson, brother, friend, ponderer, dreamer, Adam will be greatly missed by all, especially the community surrounding 222 Dutch Lanes, where he was employed off and on for over 20 years, most recently as a mechanic. Adam was known for always bringing a joke in his back pocket, something to cheer your day and make you laugh. He loved his puppy Freya with all his heart, enjoyed video games, camping, music, and taking pictures of sunsets.
Adam will be lovingly missed by his parents, Rebecca, wife of Todd Montgomery; and Markus Mutzabaugh; his maternal grandparents, Dennis and Alnona Rippy; his paternal grandparents, Ronald and Margie Mutzabaugh; his sisters, Erica, wife of Brad Martin; Amanda, wife of Doug Klinger; and a brother, Zachary Montgomery and his wife Katie; his aunt, Regina Bush; his cousins, Russel Bush, partner to Julia Groff; Rodney Rippy, partner of Christa Rehkugler; and Joseph Englerth, partner to Anna Brady; his nieces, Sarah Rivera, Emma Deebel, Olivia Deebel, and Hayley Klinger; his nephews, Elijah Martin and Nathaniel Montgomery.
He is preceded in death by his close friends, Shawn Fisher, John Slowakiewicz, and Donavan Herr.

Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, 18 Quarry Rd., Leola. Viewing: 10 – 11 a.m. at the church.
