Levi B. King, 83, of 31 Millersville Rd., Lancaster PA 17603 formerly of Ronks, entered into rest on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024 at Legend of Lancaster. Born in Soudersburg, he was the son of the late Samuel F. and Mary A. Beiler King. He was the loving husband of Mary Ann Wenzel King. They were married 58 years in April.
Levi retired from Lapp Electric as the fleet manager after 20+ years of service. He served in the U.S. Army in the 1960’s. A member of Salem Evangelical Reformed Church Hellers, he also served on the cemetery committee. He enjoyed working on cars and going antiquing with Mary Ann. Levi was an avid fan of the Indy 500 of which he attended for over 40 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: daughters, Lisa Zimmerman, companion of Denny Goshert, Ephrata, Kim King, companion of Rob McNulty, Lancaster; two grandchildren, Chandler Zimmerman, Taylor Zimmerman; siblings, Lydia King, Sarah (the late Michael) Varley, both Leola, David married to Mary King, Mifflinburg, Samuel married to Carol King, NC; sister-in-law, Esther King, IN. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Christian, Benuel, Jonas and Elizabeth King.
Graveside Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 at the Salem Evangelical Reformed Hellers Cemetery, 2555 Horseshoe Rd., Lancaster. All are welcome.
