Edgar Warren Patton, 88, of Narvon, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025. Born in Narvon, he was the son of the late E. Warren and Florence I. Whiteman Patton. He was the loving husband of Lillian E. Stoltzfus Patton. They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary last July.
Mr. Patton and his wife owned and operated Patton’s Auto Upholstery for 70 years in Narvon. He served in the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania from 1955 to 1962. He was a member of the New Holland Church of the Nazarene. He greatly enjoyed going on Mission trips and volunteer trips. His favorite trips were to African Nazarene University in Kenya where he was able to do projects in his area of expertise…upholstery.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: four children, Warren Scott Patton married to Rose Marie Reiff Patton, Denver, Christine E. Patton, Narvon, Tina Nafziger married to Art Nafziger, New Holland, Edgar Warren Patton III married to Carisa D. Houser Patton, Narvon; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Yoder married to the late Ike Yoder, Johnstown, CO, Janet Abel, New Holland, Susan Swazey, Arkansas. A sister, June Schnader preceded him in death.
The Memorial Service will take place at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25th, 2025 at the New Holland Church of the Nazarene, 428 Ranck Rd., New Holland, PA 17557. The family will greet friends after the service. Private Interment: Bridgeville EC Cemetery, Narvon. Kindly omit flowers.
