Christian K. Stoltzfus, 77, of 221 S. Groffdale Road, Leola, died Saturday, March 8, 2025 at his residence. Born in Leola, he was the son of the late John L. and Rachel King Stoltzfus. He was the husband of Katie Stoltzfus Stoltzfus. Christian was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Besides his wife he is survived by: children, Linda S. wife of John Fisher of Paradise, Samuel S. husband of Sadie Zook Stoltzfus of New Holland, Rachel S. wife of Steven Lapp of Modoc, IN, Jonas S. husband of Marian King Stoltzfus of Paradise, Barbie S. wife of Gideon Lapp of Felton, Benuel S. husband of Sadie Kauffman Stoltzfus of New Holland, John Lee Stoltzfus of Leola, Michael J. Stoltzfus of Leola, Kathryn wife of John Allen Lapp of Leola; 50 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ike husband of Anna Smucker Stoltzfus of Aylmer, Ontario, Amos husband of Lizzie Esh Stoltzfus of Peach Bottom, Ben husband of Sadie Stoltzfus Stoltzfus of New Holland, Fannie wife of Levi Kauffman of Loganton, Barbara wife of the late Henry Fisher of Christiana; sisters-in-law, Lavina Stoltzfus of Loganton and Mary Stoltzfus of Leola. He was preceded in death by: daughter, Rosanne Stoltzfus; grandchildren, Marian Fisher, Melvin Lapp; brothers, Samuel Stoltzfus, John Stoltzfus and sister-in-law, Sally Stoltzfus.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM EDT at the late residence. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late residence. Interment will be in Myer’s Cemetery.
