Annie L. Beiler, age 93, formerly of W. Newport Road, Ronks, went to meet Jesus on January 16, 2015 at Fairmount Homes.   She passed away peacefully with loving caregivers by her side. 

She was born in Bird in Hand, a daughter of the late Aquilla K. and Arie Lapp Riehl.  She was the wife of the late Sylvan Z. Beiler, who died on June 30, 1972.

Annie was a member of Weavertown Amish Mennonite Church, Bird in Hand and was a member and past president of the church sewing circle. She enjoyed cutting quilt patches and sewing quilts for the church and for her family.  She handmade and quilted special quilts for each of her eight grandchildren.  She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Katie, wife of Michael W. Hertzler, Leola; Leon Edwin, Ronks; Amos, husband of Lydia (Hurst), Ronks and Lillian, wife of Jonas L. Miller, Leola; eight grandchildren: Darlene, wife of Jason Miller, Cody, WY; Arlan, husband of Dana (Stoner) Beiler, Ronks; Dawn, wife of Jerry Coleman, Greenwood, NY; LaReta,  wife of Chad Smucker, Ronks; Kevin, husband of Andrea (Nissley) Hertzler, Radiant, VA; Joanna, wife of Titus Yoder, Cochranton, PA; Ranae Miller and Jessalyn Miller, both of Lancaster; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister: Sadie Stoltzfus, Lancaster; one brother: Henry Riehl, Bird in Hand.  She was predeceased by two daughters: Lydia Ann and Arietta; one son: Melvin R.; three sisters: Mary Stoltzfus, Susie Stoltzfus and Elizabeth Stoltzfoos; one brother: David Riehl.

     A viewing will be held at Fairmount Homes Wheat Ridge Chapel on Friday, January 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will take place from the Weavertown Amish Mennonite Church, 2900 Church Road, Bird in Hand on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11 a.m.  An additional viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. There will be no viewing after the service.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Fairmount Homes, 333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata, PA  17522 for the Hospitality Café or Sharing Fund.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fairmount Homes for the loving and excellent care she received while living there.
