Moses Z. Lapp, 92, of 3948 E. Newport Rd., Gordonville formerly of Lebanon County, passed away Saturday evening, May 9, 2015 at his home. Born in Bareville, Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Moses and Annie (Zook) Lapp. He was the husband of Sadie (Smucker) Lapp and the late Sarah (Stoltzfus) Lapp. A retired self-employed carpenter, Mr. Lapp was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving besides his wife are: children, Hannah married to Elmer King, Ronks, John married to Linda (Fisher) Lapp, Gordonville, Omar married to Linda (King) Lapp, Narvon, Daniel married to Suzanne (Stoltzfoos) Lapp, Ickesburg; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Fannie Lapp, Myerstown, Mary married to Menno Peachy, Mifflintown; a brother, Jacob married to Mary (Wenger) Lapp, McAlisterville. He was preceded in death by: a son, Samuel; brothers, John, Jonas, David, Levi, Isaac; sisters, Katie, Barbara, and Annie King.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. EST Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from the late home. Interment: Dry Hill Cemetery, Ridge Rd., Gordonville. Viewing: at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
