Abner K. Esh, 79, of 278 S. Vintage Road, Paradise, passed away on July 19, 2017 at home. He was the son of the late John and Barbara (King) Esh. Abner worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Abner is survived by his wife, Mary (Allgyer) Esh; six sons, Gideon married to Priscilla Esh Esh of Ronks, John married to Sadie Zook Esh of New Holland, Ivan married to Elizabeth Lantz Esh of Paradise, Abner Jr. married to Rebecca Lee Esh of Newburg, Ephraim married to Martha King Esh of Paradise, Mervin married to Arie Blank Esh of Newburg; two daughters, Sylvia married to Sylvan Stoltzfus of Kinzers, Anna married to Abner King of Gordonville; 96 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; three step-sons, John David married to Lydiann Ebersol Allgyer of Manton, Mervin married to Sylvia Stoltzfus Allgyer of Howard, Abner married to Katie King Allgyer of Gap; two step-daughters, Edna married to Amos Beiler of Cochranville, Sally Anne married to David Stoltzfus of Manton; two brothers, John married to Lizzie Esh, Aaron married to Sylvia Esh; five sisters, Barbara married to Benjamin Kauffman, Katie Stoltzfus, Malinda Stoltzfus, Mary Esh, Lydia Glick; daughter-in-law, Ruth (Esh) married to Mose Riehl of Paradise.
He was preceded in death by: his first wife, Annie Stoltzfus Esh; son, Jonas Esh; a grandson; two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services: Friday, July 21, 2017, at 9:00 am EST at the home of Steven King, 4 Forever Lane, Paradise. Viewing: at the late home till the service. Burial: Beiler’s Cemetery, Ronks.
