Amos B. Lapp, 82, of 130 Centerville Rd. Gordonville, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Born in Leacock Twp., he was the son of the late David Z. and Sarah Blank Lapp. He was the husband of Mattie L. Stoltzfus Lapp.
He was a retired farmer and woodworker, and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: a daughter, Anna S. wife of Benuel S. Riehl of Gordonville; eight grandchildren, Linda wife of Daniel King, Martha wife of Amos Beiler, Chris husband of Martha Smoker Riehl, Amos, Mary, Marian, Ivan and David Riehl; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Christ husband of Emma King Lapp of Cains. He was preceded in death by five sisters, Rachel Stoltzfus, Rebecca Riehl, Fannie Smucker, Leah Stoltzfus, and Mary Lapp.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. EST Friday, Apr. 10, 2015 at the late home. Interment: Myer's Cemetery. Viewing: at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
