Amos J. Smucker, Jr., 33, of 77 Esbenshade Rd., Ronks, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at home. Born in Salisbury Twp., he was the son of Mary Beiler Smucker of Narvon and the late Amos J. Smucker, Sr. He was the husband of Anna Ruth Lapp Smucker. He was a farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are: four children, Katie Marie, John Allen, Jacob Arlan, Priscilla Beth Smucker, all at home; three brothers, Jonas K. husband of Annie Petersheim Smucker, Gap, Elmer K. Smucker, Alvin K. husband of Fannie Smucker Smucker, both of Narvon; eight sisters, Barbie K. wife of Mahlon Stoltzfus, New Holland, Linda K. wife of Eli Fisher, New York, Anna K. wife of Levi Fisher, Sara B. wife of Dave Esh, both of Gordonville, Priscilla K. wife of Mervin Beiler, Leola, Leah K. wife of Alvin Esh, Gordonville, Marian K. wife of John Smoker, Bird-in-Hand, Elizabeth K. wife of Jacob Smucker, Jr., Narvon. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary B. Smucker.
Funeral Services will be held from the late home on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016 at 9 AM EST with interment following in Gordonville Cemetery. Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice till the time of the service. Kindly omit flowers.
