Annie Z. Fisher, 93, formerly of Ridge Road, Gordonville, PA, entered into rest on Wednesday evening, February 15, surrounded by her family. She resided at her daughter Lydia's home along Snake Hill Road for the last six years. She enjoyed 54 years of marriage with the late Seth Fisher.
Born in New Holland, PA, she was the daughter of Joseph and Lydia Zook Riehl. Annie loved reading her Bible and nurturing her pansies and ferns and geraniums. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are five children: Jacob R. Fisher husband of Levina; Henry R. Fisher husband of Mary, both of Mifflin, PA; Lydia wife of Daniel Z. Stoltzfus, of Bird-in-hand, PA; David R. Fisher husband of Mary Ann, of Huntingdon, PA; and Joseph R. Fisher husband of Faith, of New Holland, PA; 26 grandchildren and 69 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jacob Riehl husband of the late Lizzie, and a sister, Sarah wife of the late Jonas Ebersol.
A viewing will be held at the John Riehl residence: 3836 Yost Road, Gordonville, PA, on Thursday afternoon and evening. The funeral service will take place at the same address on Friday morning, February 17, at 9 a.m. with interment following in the Dry Hill Cemetery.
