Benjamin J. Fisher, Jr., 89, met his Lord and Savior Thursday morning, September 19, 2024. He was the husband of Emma (Fisher) Fisher for 59 years. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Lena (Glick) Fisher.
Benjamin was a member of Worship Center. He loved God, enjoyed spending time with his family who he loved very much, fishing and hunting with his son and grandchildren. He was so loved by his family and they will treasure all the memories of him. His love reached around the world through an exchange student Maggie, who loved him dearly. Benjamin was last employed at Paradise Custom Kitchens and E&E General Contracting. He enjoyed the interaction he had driving his Amish neighbors who became close dear friends.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 children: Ruth Ann wife of Kurt Kreider, Marvin husband of Sara Boatman, Rhoda wife of Roger Martin. 11 grandchildren: Mark (Anna Williams) Kreider, Emma Kreider, Becca (Gabe) Imhof, Katie (Coby) King, Olivia (Shane Trout) Fisher, Margarida Mugerio, Natalie Martin, Grace (Benjamin) Breon, Benjamin Tate Fisher, Michael (Elizabeth Rooney) Martin, Anya (fiancé Jonathon Revolorio) Fisher. 8 great grandchildren: Allison and Raegan Kreider, Walker and Sutton King, Colter Trout and 3 more expected this winter; brother, Menno Fisher, sisters-in-law Mary (Elmer), Becky (Jesse), Ruthie (Leon). He was preceded in death by siblings: Aaron (Malinda), Sarah (Stephan) Esh, Elmer, Jesse, John (Annie), Christy (Anna Ruth), Alvin (Anna), Leon, sister-in-law Katie (Menno)
A Life Celebration will be held at the Worship Center, 2384 New Holland Pike, Lancaster, on Thursday evening, September 26, 2024, at 6:00. A visitation with the family will be held from 4:30-6:00 pm and after the service.
