Eli B. Smucker, 30, of 9 Scheller Rd., New Providence, died Monday, August 8, 2016 of injuries sustained in an industrial accident. Born in New Providence, he was the son of Emanuel B. and Lizzie Beiler Smucker. He worked for Moses B. Glick LLC and attended the Old Order Amish Church.
Besides his parents, he is survived by eleven siblings: Aaron B. husband of Susanna Zook Smucker of Holtwood, Sadie B. wife of Aaron Glick, Esther B. wife of Abner Glick both of Catawissa, Melvin B. Smucker, Gideon B. Smucker, Mark B. husband of Amanda Stoltzfus Smucker, Lydia B. Smucker, Emanuel B. Smucker Jr., Jesse B. Smucker, Miriam B. Smucker, Michael M. Smucker all of New Providence and maternal grandmother, Sadie Beiler of Lampeter Township.
The funeral will be held Friday, August 12, 2016 at 9:00 am EST at the David King residence, 289 Sawmill Rd., New Providence. Interment will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late home. Viewing tentatively expected to start Wednesday evening.
