Eli B. Stoltzfus, 96, of 343 Sawmill Road, Strasburg, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at home. Born in New Holland, he was the son of the late Simeon and Fannie Stoltzfus Stoltzfus. He was the husband of the late Katie Beiler Stoltzfus who passed away in 1995. Mr. Stoltzfus was a retired dairy farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by: two daughters, Annie wife of Amos Riehl, Kinzers, Bena wife of John Stoltzfus, Manheim; three sons, Melvin husband of Fannie, Strasburg, Elmer husband of Carol Ann, Willow Street, Eli Jr. husband of Barbie, Paradise; son-in-law, Leo Shank husband of the late Mary; 33 grandchildren; 103 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Annie Stoltzfus and Bena Stoltzfus; sister-in-law, Drusilla Stoltzfus, all of Quarryville.
In addition to his daughter, he was preceded in death by: two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; six brothers, Elam, Lester, Enos, Leroy, Christ and Simeon; four sisters, Sarah, Rachel, Sylvia and Fannie.
The funeral will be Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 9 AM EST from the late home. Interment: Bunker Hill Cemetery, Strasburg. Viewing: at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
