Gideon P. Riehl, Sr., 70, of 333 Laurel Road, Narvon, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Gap, he was the son of the late Aaron D. and Susie Ebersol Riehl. He was the husband of Malinda Stoltzfus Riehl. He worked for Brubacher Excavating and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is also survived by: children, Amos husband of Rebecca Lapp Riehl of Garnett, KS, Gideon, Jr., husband of Mary Louise King Riehl of East Earl, Lydia wife of Abner Stoltzfus of East Earl, Reuben husband of Leah Lapp Riehl of Parkesburg; ten grandchildren; brother, Emanuel husband of Sharon Glick Riehl of Kinzers; sister, Esther wife of Ben Lapp of Rebersburg; brother-in-law, Benuel husband of Katie King of Narvon; sisters-in-law, Edith Riehl of Denver and Emma Riehl of Narvon. He was preceded in death by brothers, John and David Riehl; sisters, Annie King and Lydia Stoltzfus.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. EST, Friday, June 19, 2015 at the residence of Elmer Esh, 500 Edwards Road, Narvon, PA. Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice till the service. Please omit flowers. Interment: Mast Cemetery.
