Harold L. Null, 88, of Woodbury, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Born in Deep Valley, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Laura DeBolt Null. He was the loving husband of Bernice Porter Null who died in 2001.
Mr. Null was a rigger for the Philadelphia Electric Company for 40 years. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII. His memberships included: Life member of the NRA & VFW; American Legion; and the Lighthouse Assembly of God. He had a caring spirit and loved helping with the church's community food pantry.
He will be lovingly missed by: his son, James L. Null Sr. married to Elsie, Quarryville, PA; four grandchildren, Edward (Sherry), Kimmy (Jere), Jim Jr. (Deb), Joe (Carolyn); great-grandchildren, Bubba (Crystal), Taylor, Darrien, Alexis, Emily, Ava, Brady, Joey, Brianna; a great-great-granddaughter, Cheyenne; brother, Joseph (Dorothy), Gifford, PA; sisters, Frances (the late Gene) Johnson, Bradford, PA, Florence (Carl) Ewart, Newark, DE.
He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Holly Null; a son, Harold Jr.; granddaughter, Karen; siblings, Dwayne, Helen, Hazel and Gracie.
Funeral services: 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Lighthouse Assembly of God, 105 Earland Dr., New Holland. Viewing: 10-11 a.m. Saturday. Interment: Monday, Feb. 29th at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
