     Harriet Ann Regitz, 72, of Leola, PA died Tuesday of breast cancer.  Born June 6, 1943 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah Henry and Julia Ann Trout of Asbury, NJ.  She was graduated from St. Phillip and St. James Catholic School.  After high school she attended Immaculata College and Monmouth College.  Harriet was a home economist for Preservaline Manufacturing Company in Flemington, NJ.  After moving to Leola in 1972, she became a homemaker for the remainder of her life.  She became a follower of Jesus in 1976 and was a member of Reamstown Church of God. She was a past member of the Leola Library board, the Upper Leacock Township Election board, the Conestoga Valley Football and Wrestling booster clubs, and a Garden Spot 4-H club sewing leader.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, reading her Bible, cruising, and spending time with her family. 

     She was married for 32 years to the late Dr. Stanley T. Regitz, who died in 1998. Harriet is survived by three sons, Neil Regitz, Atlanta, GA, Craig Regitz, Downingtown, PA, Clark Regitz, Lancaster, PA and one daughter, Cara Weil, Lancaster, PA and 11 grandchildren.  She is also survived by a brother, Henry Trout, Coply, PA,and  two sisters, Bernice Shoemaker, Bloomsbury, NJ, Betty Pawlowski, Clinton, NJ. 

     Funeral services will be held from the Reamstown Church of God, 400 Pfautz Hill Rd., Stevens, PA 17578, on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. with interment following in Eby Cemetery.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St. Leola, and from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Reamstown Church of God Building Fund.
