Jesse Park McMichael, 29, of Mechanicsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Born in Bradford, PA, he was the son of Tracy Wakeley McMichael and the late William McMichael.
Jesse graduated in 2005 from Shippensburg Area High School. His talent and passion for electronics and robotics led him to receive a medal and scholarship to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he attended after completing his first year of college at Shippensburg University. He could often be found looking for and reading books related to science, physics or mystery.
Jesse was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with them whether it be watching old movies, talking for long hours, attending film festivals or just hanging out. One of his favorite movies was Mystery Science Theater 3000. He shared his flair and love of origami with others by always leaving a rose or other creation at a restaurant or coffee shop. With his dimples and his smile he brought joy to so many. Jesse will always be held close in our hearts and the treasured memories we each have will help get us through losing this precious young life.
