Marie T. Sweigart, 75, of Elverson, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Reading Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Fox Williams. She was the loving wife of Frank S. Sweigart. They would have been married 56 years on November 9th.
Most recently, Marie had worked as a produce clerk at the Shady Maple Farmers Market from where she retired. She was a member of Hopewell Christian Fellowship Church, Elverson. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and volunteer work. She also liked collecting figurines and playing puzzle games.
In addition to her husband, she will be lovingly missed by: 3 children, David married to Virginia, Goochland County, VA, Scott Sweigart, Reinholds, Donna Haas, Harleysville; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 11, 2019 at 11 am from the Hopewell Christian Fellowship, 2286 Hopewell Rd., Elverson. The family will visit with friends from 9 to 11 am at the church on Monday. Interment will be in Groffdale Mennonite Cemetery, Leola.
