Mattie Kauffman, 76, of 979 Mill Rd., Honey Brook, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, January 16, 2018 at home. She was the wife of Christian S. Kauffman. They were married 54 years last October. Born in Gordonville, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Annie King King. A homemaker, Mrs. Kauffman was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Also surviving: children, Annie married to Aaron Glick, Lancaster, Linda married to Samuel Fisher, Gap, Levi married to Mary Stoltzfus Kauffman, Honey Brook, Lydia married to Melvin King, Lancaster, John married to Hannah Glick Kauffman, Honey Brook, Mary married to John Petersheim, Christiana, Steven married to Katie Stoltzfus Kauffman, Honey Brook, Barbie married to Amos Lapp, Lititz, Rachel married to Ike Riehl, Narvon; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Abraham married to Susie King, Lancaster, Gideon married to Barbara King, Gap, Amos married to Malinda King, Gordonville, Malinda married to the late Isaac Beiler, Quarryville, Sarah married to the late Amos Beiler, Leola, Lydia married to David Stoltzfus, Gordonville; brother-in-law, John married to Mary Petersheim, Gordonville.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Petersheim and David King.
Funeral Services: 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 at the home of Levi Kauffman, 665 Mill Rd., Honey Brook. Interment: Cambridge Cemetery. Viewing: at the late home till the service.
