Michael P. Adams

     Michael P. Adams, 62, of Citra, FL formerly of Lititz, PA passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at home on Easter Sunday, Apr. 21, 2019.  Born in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, he was the son of the late John C. and Claire Contreras Adams.  Mike was a Licensed Funeral Director, Professional Drummer/Percussionist, Dad and Grandpa.  

    He was a long-time drummer at the Lititz Grace Church.  He loved his family, hometown, his dogs, his grandchildren, and his home in Citra – “Almost Paradise Acres". 

     Mike will be lovingly missed by: three children, Nicholas married to Aubree Adams, Lititz, Diana married to Ben Marks, Landisville, Tracey married to Brandon Pennypacker, Birdsboro; four grandchildren, Koen, Harper, Bentley and Bryce; his fiancee' Sandi Rutter, Citra, FL; former wife, Nancy Maule Sims, Ephrata; and extended family, friends and colleagues.

     A Celebration of Life will take place at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 5th, 2019 at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola, PA with greeting time from 10-11 a.m.  Memorials are welcomed to: The Humane Society of Marion County, 701 NW 14th Road, Ocala, FL 34475 or the Wounded Warriors Project.
