Rebecca L. Fisher, 82, of 150 Old Leacock Rd., Gordonville, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at her home. Born in Gordonville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel P. and Rachel Lapp Stoltzfus. She was married for 61 years to John M. Fisher. A homemaker, Rebecca was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: 5 children, Annie married to Amos P. Esh, Levi married to Lydia Stoltzfoos Fisher, both of Gordonville, Rachel married to Christian Lantz, Lebanon County, Sadie Mae married to Aaron Petersheim, Alvin married to Rhoda Grace Stoltzfus Fisher, both of Gordonville; 31 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 siblings, Sarah married to Abner Beiler, Barbie married to Jesse Lapp, both of Gordonville, Fannie married to John Fisher, Ronks, Emma wife of the late David Smucker, East Earl, Amos married to Mary Stoltzfus, Kore married to Ruth Stoltzfus, both of Gordonville.
She was preceded in death by: a son, Samuel P. Fisher; a granddaughter, Miriam Fisher; a sister, Leah Stoltzfus.
Funeral services will be held from 148 Old Leacock Rd., Gordonville, on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11 am with interment following in Gordonville Cemetery. The viewing will be at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
