Richard W. Humbert, age 86, of Leola, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. He was the husband of the late Lorraine L. Humbert. They were married 59 years.
He was born on May 10, 1932 in Franklin County, PA, to the late William Roy and Annie Humbert.
He will be greatly missed by: his four children, Wesley R. (Shari) Humbert of Harrisburg, PA, Philip C. (Tamera) Humbert of Neffsville, PA, Nathan D. (Susan) Humbert of Denver, PA, and Julia K. (Jeff) Nish of Ambler, PA; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven siblings: Dorothy Varner, Olive Humbert, Eli Humbert, Elmer Humbert, Effie Clark, Mabel Hess, and Cecil Humbert.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family.
Richard enjoyed hiking, reading, running, nature photography and had a quick sense of humor. He was employed for 43 years by Miller and Bushong which became Pennfield Corp. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
