Sadie S. Fisher King, 87, of 129 Lantz Rd., Strasburg, entered into rest on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018. Born in Gordonville, she was the daughter of the late David F. and Sylvia Smucker Esh. Mrs. King was the wife of the late Daniel F. King (2011) and the late Aaron K. Fisher (1973). A homemaker, she was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Survivors include: five children, Sylvia married to Christ King, Christiana, Katie married to Gideon Stoltzfus, Gap, Sadie Mae married to the late Reuben Stoltzfus, Kirkwood, Jesse married to Katie Lantz Fisher, Christiana, David J. married to Barbara Fisher Fisher, Strasburg; 38 grandchildren; 106 great-grandchildren; siblings, Leroy married to the late Ruth Esh, Mary married to Jonas Esh, Fannie married to the late Jesse Esh, all of Gordonville; step-children, Mary (John Lapp), Gordonville, Jonas King (Katie Ebersol), Bird-in-Hand, Katie (Aaron Beiler) Strasburg, late Jacob King (Naomi Zook), Millersburg, Daniel King (Barbie Stoltzfus) Strasburg, Lizzie (Sam Stoltzfus) Morgantown, Benuel King (Leah Ebersol), Barbie King, both of Strasburg; 67 step-grandchildren; a number of step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: brothers, Stevie and Jesse Esh; daughter-in-law, Fannie Fisher; son-in-law, Reuben Stoltzfus; a grandson, David Stoltzfus; two step-sons, Jacob and Joseph.
Funeral Services: 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2018 at the late home (129 Lantz Rd.) with viewing there till the service. Interment: Gordonville Cemetery.
