Samuel H. Beiler, 89, of 426A Beechdale Rd., Bird-in-Hand, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at home. He was the son of the late Andrew D. and Annie Hertzler Beiler. He was the husband of the late Lydia Glick King Beiler. Samuel was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: nine children, Susie A. married to Levi S. Lapp, Quarryville, Mary K. married to Henry Fisher, Mifflin, PA, David K. married to Ruth King Beiler, Bird-in-Hand, Anna K. married to John King, Woodward, PA, Naomi K. married to Jacob Zook, Gratz, Amos K. married to Sarah Lapp Beiler, Bird-in-Hand, Fannie K. married to Sol Zook, Honey Brook, Andrew K. married to Martha Beiler Beiler, Bird-in-Hand, Samuel H. Jr. married to Leah Lapp Beiler, Bird-in-Hand; 61 grandchildren; 164 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Andrew H. married to Naomi Beiler, Delta, Ezra married to Elizabeth Beiler, New Providence; five sisters, Emma Fisher, Paradise, Lizzie Zook, Quarryville, Rachel married to Paul Smucker, Lancaster, Lydia married to Abner Esch, Bird-in-Hand, Annie Esh, Ronks; sister-in-law, Fannie Beiler, Groffdale.
He was preceded in death by: three grandchildren; two sisters, Katie Stoltzfus and Mary Riehl; two brothers, Jacob and David Beiler.
The funeral will be Friday, September 27, 2017 at 9:00 AM EST at the late home. Friends may call from the time of this notice until the service at the late home. Interment in Beiler's Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
